Recorded some double bass again recently! Finally have a good mic for it, so hmu if you need that 😎 Sometimes I don’t get to play double bass for a while. Then when I pick it up again, it varies how out of shape I feel. This time, it felt alright! Here’s a snippet of me warming up to ‘Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans’, on of my favourite standards. This month I did a few gigs again playing solo, accompanied by visuals from @jonathanszegedi . This is from our gig at @soundout.amsterdam_ at @8sixa . The tune is about how the consequences of how we treat the earth are becoming more and more apparent. Yesterday night on tv with the amazing @jaiindaa playing her new single ‘Lighthouse’!
