Look what I got..!! Yes, it's the new @floatmonki record 'Body No. 1'!! I'm so happy to be part of this amazing band of @donnavandijck. She just writes the most amazing tunes. They're always challenging to play, but this blend between fusion, soul and sometimes even progrock-like songs is really fun to play bass on. And there's even two tracks on the record I produced!! One more rehearsal vid! I made this tune quite a while ago. Much later I asked @jonathanszegedi to play some drums on it, and he made it sound so much better. Then @maartencima asked if he could play some guitar on it, and a band was born. More coming soon! This winter I started working on some music with dear friend and colleague @jessiebreve. We both wrote some songs about these very weird times, and we perform those songs with bass clarinet, alto saxophone, double bass, electric bass and some synths (i cant help it). Here's a little sneak peek of one of my compositions, called 'Alleen'.
